Mediation
What is Mediation?
Finding Agreement in Disagreement
Mediation is a conversation between two or more people who disagree, led by a trained, neutral mediator. The role of the trained mediators is to facilitate communications between the parties and write up any agreements that result. The mediators do not decide the outcome of the dispute nor do they advocate for either party. In mediation, both parties negotiate for themselves.
Mediation is a less expensive and time-saving alternative to court. The parties meet and settle their conflict in a safe, confidential, and efficient manner. Mediation helps people to be heard. Whether you want peace and quiet, family unity, or a financial settlement, mediation can help.
