HOMES Helps Seniors, Veterans & People with Disabilities
HOMES (Homeowners’ Outreach, Mentoring, and Education Services) is a new housing program in April 2025. HOMES assists seniors, veterans and people with disabilities who qualify with assistance in completing the application for the property tax exemption. The income limit has increased to $84,000, enabling a larger group to qualify for this exemption.
HOMES workshops are a partnership with Seattle Urban League and is funded by King County’s VSHSL program.
