CoRE™ Conflict Resolution for Everyone

We’re thrilled to offer our flagship, culture-forward basic training program free to King County WA residents throughout 2025. We designed this culturally-infused training to support people in managing conflict on their own and in their communities, through a suite of conflict resolution skills and a basic facilitative mediation process. Visit our CoRE page to read more.

See what one of our learners has to say: “These trainings have been a great way to reflect and evaluate how we interact and how we want to present ourselves and communicate with people.”

CoRE™ is the first step toward becoming a mediator, where you will begin building the foundation needed to address conflicts between neighbors, employers-employees, merchants-consumers, landlords-tenants, plus a variety of interpersonal conflicts. The entire 40-hour course meets the learning objectives for a Basic Mediation Training.

Advanced Learning

We are hard at work developing future advanced trainings. Eventually this will include programs in Small Claims Court mediation, Family, Housing, Community, Workplace, Restorative Practices, and more!

Visit our Advanced Learning page to read more about our advanced offerings and the steps to becoming a volunteer mediator with KCDRC.
