HOMES Helps Seniors, Veterans & People with Disabilities Apply for the Property Tax Exemption

Do you qualify for  the property tax exemption in King County? HOMES (Homeowners’ Outreach, Mentoring, and Education Services) is a new housing program in April 2025 to educate seniors, veterans and people with disabilities who qualify with assistance in completing the application for the property tax exemption. The income limit has increased to $84,000, enabling a larger group to qualify for this exemption.

HOMES workshops are funded by King County’s VSHSL program. We are proud of our ongoing partnership as a recipient of VSHSL funding from King County to support housing stability for residents of King County. You can read more about the program in our recent blog.
