KC CONNECT is a workshop series designed to equip youth and families across King County with culturally grounded, healing-centered tools to address conflict, build relationships, and lead community change.
Aragtideena
A King County where all young people and families have access to the tools, support, and spaces they need to resolve conflict, repair harm, and thrive in community.
Himiladayada
To create interactive, youth-led spaces that support healing, develop leadership, and promote culturally grounded approaches to navigating conflict.
How to Participate
There are two ways to join KC CONNECT:
- Bring KC CONNECT to Your School or Organization
We partner with schools, youth-serving nonprofits, and community groups to deliver workshops directly to the people you serve. We’ll work with your team to tailor the content, prepare the space, and support your staff. Download our Toolkit to learn more.
Ideal for:
- Classrooms
- After-school programs
- Community youth groups
- Parent/family engagement programs
Workshops are free for eligible partners.
- Sign Up for a KCDRC-Hosted Online Workshop
We also offer regular online CONNECT workshops that are free to individual youth and families throughout King County. Each month, we explore a different real-life topic related to conflict, communication, and justice—all in a welcoming virtual space. Workshops take place on the 2nd Sabti of each month from 11am to 1pm.
