SUMMARY:CoRE™ Part B
DESCRIPTION:About CoRE™ \nWe designed CoRE™ to make conflict resolution training and services more relevant and accessible to everyone. We believe everyone has the capacity to strengthen their conflict resolution skills in everyday life. To shape this program\, we held listening sessions and focus groups with residents and organizations in South King County. Through these conversations\, we heard diverse perspectives from people of color and marginalized communities\, including LGBTQ+ individuals\, immigrants\, people who were formerly incarcerated\, and others.  \nPart B\nPart B will be held from 9/16/2025 to 9/18/2025 from 9am to 6pm. \nAfter completing Part A\, learners may join a 3-day facilitative mediation training with opportunities to apply and demonstrate skills from Part A\, while acting as a mediator in role-playing scenarios to support others in managing conflict. Completing both Parts A and B of CoRE™ will provide a 40-hour certificate that meets the objectives for a Basic Mediation Training (BMT). \nLearning mediation skills can help address conflicts between neighbors\, employees & employers\, consumers & businesses\, tenants & landlords\, plus a variety of interpersonal conflicts. \nWhether you want to become a formal mediator\, or to improve your skills of helping and working with others\, we think CoRE™ is for you! \nVisit our Learning Portal to sign up/join mailing list. \nRead more about CoRE™ here.
